Situation
The foreign employee was systematically paid less for identical work — all signs of discrimination under Art. 14 of the Spanish Constitution and Art. 17 ET. Reference: SMI 2026 — €1,221/month (RD 126/2026). When she raised the issue, management hinted at a possible dismissal.
Solution
Our lawyers documented the evidence base: payslips for the entire period, colleagues’ testimonies, email correspondence. Filed a complaint with the Inspección de Trabajo and then a demanda with the Juzgado de lo Social seeking reinstatement or discrimination compensation.
Result
The employer settled: €14,500 in compensation. The client resigned voluntarily with full protection of her rights.
