We are launching a series of posts where we will share real cases from our clients. You’ll learn how it’s possible to protect your rights even in the most complex situations. Here’s the first story.
A client was stopped by the police for a routine document check. But the officer decided the driver’s license was fake. Why? Because the PRADO database (the official EU document database) had an outdated sample that didn’t match the current version of the document.
Result: The client was detained, the license was confiscated, and the case was referred to court. Even though the document was completely legal, the client still had to prove its authenticity.
What we did:
✔ Proved the authenticity of the license using official sources
✔ Pointed out the police’s mistake
✔ Achieved case dismissal
✔ Returned the license to the client
✔ Removed the criminal record entry (antecedentes policiales), which could have affected future employment and document processing
Outcome: The client was satisfied — they reached out for help in time and avoided serious consequences: interrogations, a criminal record, and document-related problems.
Important: Even if you haven’t broken the law — you still need to prove your innocence legally. That’s exactly what we do.
