A family from Kyiv, already holding temporary protection status in Spain, wanted to diversify their residence without committing the full €1,000,000. We analysed the conditions for investing in the Housing Fund (Fons d’Habitatge) — the reduced €400,000 threshold — and prepared a legal opinion on the risks of this still-new instrument, including the lack of settled administrative practice. In parallel, we prepared a backup real-estate route in case the fund was not operational at filing time. The clients received a clear comparison of the benefits and risks of both routes in Spanish and Ukrainian to make an informed decision.
